About you
- Educated to university degree level or vocational equivalent
- 6 to 12 months of relevant work experience, ideally supporting financial or accounting functions
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Basic understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance processes
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and development
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
What you'll do
- Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Conduct weekly bank reconciliations and help manage cashflow forecasts
- Maintain accurate financial records and controls
- Prepare statutory accounts and management reports
- Respond to accounting queries and support system users
- Contribute to compliance checks and resolve financial discrepancies
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-first workplace culture
