The Legal Counsel will support the business by providing practical, commercially focused legal advice across a range of matters within a logistics and transportation environment. Working closely with the Head of Legal and wider business teams, the role offers an opportunity to develop strong in‑house experience while contributing to the effective management of legal risk and supporting day‑to‑day operations.
The role covers commercial and contractual work, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements while supporting contract management and providing input on bids and proposals. It also involves assisting with regulatory and compliance matters such as health and safety, environmental requirements, and UK GDPR, alongside maintaining legal policies and monitoring regulatory changes.
Additionally, the position supports claims, disputes, and insurance processes, helping to identify and elevate legal risks. Broader responsibilities include providing legal support across business functions, contributing to corporate governance, and assisting with internal projects and organisational initiatives.
