We’re looking for a newly qualified solicitor (or up to one year PQE – PQE is given as a guide only and applications from more senior candidates will be considered) to join our in‑house Legal team within a listed consumer financial services business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants hands‑on exposure to a broad range of legal matters in a regulated environment and who enjoys working closely with the business.
Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll be part of a supportive team where everyone pitches in. You’ll take a practical, solutions‑focused approach, supporting stakeholders across the organisation and taking real ownership of your work. No task is too small, and flexibility and curiosity are key.
The role has a strong corporate and commercial focus (around 50%), alongside involvement in governance, regulatory matters, employment, property, procurement and litigation. We offer a flexible hybrid working environment with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to grow your skillset across a wide range of legal disciplines.
Private Medical Insurance (Vitality), 25 days annual leave (increasing to 28 with service) plus your birthday off, matched pension contribution (L&G), share save scheme (Equinity), retail discounts, free entertainment tickets, plus much more!
Flexible working hours with hybrid working for Head Office roles (as agreed with your line manager).
A wide range of Learning & Development offers, from 121 coaching to qualification support, helping you to grow and thrive in your career.
