Role Overview
The Director of Quality will lead the end-to-end quality strategy at Optos, ensuring products meet regulatory, internal, and customer standards while providing full accountability for Quality Assurance and Quality Control across global operations.
Responsibilities
- Protect product integrity, consumer safety, and brand reputation.
- Ensure compliance and successful outcomes of all external audits.
- Embed a culture of quality through strong leadership and cross‑functional alignment.
Qualifications
- Proactive and accountable individual capable of thriving in a high‑autonomy environment.
- Strong track record of identifying gaps, driving efficiencies, and taking full ownership of quality initiatives through to resolution.
- Ability to influence stakeholders across wider business functions.
- Excellent communication skills, bringing gravitas and credibility.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment and ability to apply quality principles pragmatically to deliver measurable continuous improvement outcomes.
