Overview

Queen's College, London is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead and develop the HR function across both our Senior and Prep Schools. Located just behind Oxford Street, we are a thriving independent day school with a proud history of educating girls since 1848.

This is a varied and influential role, suited to an HR leader who is comfortable operating across the full spectrum of HR activity, from recruitment through to reward while embedding effective processes and providing expert guidance to senior leadership on best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR function across both Senior and Prep Schools.
• Shape and foster a strong, values-driven HR culture and ethos at Queen's.
• Provide strategic input combined with hands‑on approach, delivering pragmatic and commercially aware HR solutions while aligning with the College's charitable and educational mission.
• Collaborate closely with the Bursar, Co‑Heads of the Prep, and the Principal to support leadership on best practice.
• Embed effective HR processes and provide expert guidance to senior leadership.
• Operate across the full spectrum of HR activity, including recruitment, reward, and other HR functions.
