Hydraulic Hose Technician

Location: Southampton.

£35,000 - £40,000 DOE basic.

Competitive salary, bonus structure, overtime and on call payments (1 in 3), company pension, 25 days holiday, continued support and a fully stocked van.

The Role

This role is for a hydraulic engineer with an understanding of hydraulic hoses, machinery and a mechanical mindset. As well as having an understanding of hydraulics, you must have the ability to create business and increase workload; this role is a job within a job. The harder you work the more you will get back in bonuses. This role is for someone who is looking to commit long term and forge a longstanding career and run their own mobile workshop as a business within a business.

Responsibilities

• Visiting sites and identifying the issue then repairing in a timely, professional manner.
• Provide professional onsite hydraulic hose replacement services.
• Ensure all HSE guidelines within company policy.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and make changes when required.
• Work closely with other mobile engineers to assist on site when required.
• Complete relevant documentation to a high standard.
• Increasing customer portfolio.
• Maintaining your mobile workshop is kept stocked.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have hydraulic experience and understanding.
• Experience working with various industrial, mechanical machinery.
• Positive “Can do” attitude.
• Mechanically minded.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic general knowledge of hydraulic components.
• Full UK driver's license.
• Fantastic level of customer service, being professional at all times.
