Used Car Sales Executive

Location: Maidstone Area

A well-established main dealer in the Maidstone area is looking to appoint an experienced Used Car Sales Executive to join their successful sales team. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy retail environment, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and wants to be part of a close-knit team that values professionalism, teamwork, and a genuinely positive working culture. The site places a strong emphasis on honest, transparent sales, with a clear focus on building long-term customer relationships and maintaining a strong local reputation.

Responsibilities

• Selling used vehicles within a main dealer environment
• Managing the full sales process from enquiry through to delivery
• Providing a high standard of customer service at every stage of the customer journey
• Focusing on honest, transparent sales that build trust and long-term customer relationships
• Developing repeat business and referrals through strong customer care and reputation building
• Working closely with the wider sales team to consistently achieve monthly targets
• Offering finance, warranty, and add-on products in a customer-focused and compliant manner

Requirements

• Previous main dealer sales experience is essential
• Proven track record in automotive sales
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• A team-focused attitude with the ability to fit into a well-bonded, professional, and social team
• Someone who values honest selling, long-term customer relationships, and contributing to a strong dealership reputation

Salary and Benefits

• Basic salary: £21,000
• Fantastic commission structure with strong earning potential
• On-target earnings: £45,000-£50,000
• Achieving around 10 car sales per month equates to approximately £50,000 OTE per annum
• Working pattern: 5-day week
• Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm, Saturday: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Sunday: 1 in 4 rota (10:00am - 4:00pm)
• When working a Sunday, the following weekend is given off
