Pay Rate: £12.16 - £14.25 Per Hour

About the Role

We are currently recruiting a dependable and proactive Premises Supervisor to join a Primary School based in Harrow on a full‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong practical skills who can help maintain a safe, secure, and well‑presented school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the school premises
• Assisting with opening and closing the school site
• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs
• Conducting regular health and safety checks
• Ensuring the site remains clean, tidy, and hazard‑free
• Supervising cleaning staff and external contractors when required
• Setting up rooms and equipment for school activities and events
• Monitoring stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring timely repairs
• Assisting with security procedures and emergency protocols

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Premises Supervisor, Caretaker, or Facilities role preferred
• Good practical and DIY skills
• Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible
• Enhanced DBS check preferred

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm or split shifts if required; full‑time hours.
