The Business

A market leading event organisation specialising in conferences, awards and exhibitions across various sectors such as housing and bridal.

The Position

As a Conference and Awards Director, you will be responsible for delivering and leading on the key portfolio within the housing sector. You will be the key point of contact for speakers, sponsorship and c‑suite individuals, ensuring a smooth journey from initial contact to delivery on the day.

Leading on the budget for each event, ensuring all factors such as ticket sales and pricing, profitability and tracking.

This role is a collaborative approach working closely with marketing, sales and operations to boost sponsorship revenue, promote events and increase engagement.

Have a clear strong operational background, ability to oversee all aspects from health and safety, on‑site management and logistics.

About you

• Commercially driven, ability to manage all key aspects of events driving revenue.
• Knowledge within the housing, private sector or government sectors is preferred.
• A collaborative leader, working across marketing, sponsorship, speaker acquisition/management, event strategy and operations.
• Excellent communicator, great at building relationships and strong negotiation skills.
• Experience working on multiple events per year, preferably delivering conferences, exhibitions and awards.
• Experience leading teams, at least 4 direct reports.

Working Arrangements

Hybrid. Three days in office, two days working from home.
