Job Description
This role is central to translating complex financial and operational business processes into effective IT and SAP‑based solutions. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring systems are aligned with and enhance core business operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong business process knowledge, hands‑on SAP experience across multiple modules, and the ability to lead end‑to‑end system implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements, translating them into clear technical specifications
- Document current (“as‑is”) and future (“to‑be”) business processes
- Lead end‑to‑end SAP implementation projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Develop system blueprints outlining design and configuration
- Build and validate prototypes with stakeholders
- Manage and execute data migration from legacy systems
- Plan, execute, and oversee testing activities, including unit testing and UAT
- Coordinate and support Go‑Live activities, providing immediate post‑implementation support
- Develop and deliver end‑user training programmes
- Create user manuals and system documentation
- Monitor system performance post‑implementation and identify opportunities for process optimisation and enhancement
Requirements
Essential skills & experience
- SAP Expertise: Strong hands‑on experience across SAP modules including FICO, MM, and SD
- Business Analysis: Proven ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into IT solutions
- Data Analysis: Strong analytical, interpretation, and reporting skills
- System Integration: Experience integrating multiple business systems and applications
- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with modern cloud‑based platforms and solutions
- Database Knowledge: Working knowledge of relational database management systems
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities
- Project Management: Experience planning, executing, and delivering IT projects successfully
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross‑functional teams
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast‑changing environment with emerging technologies
