Overview
Our client is seeking a commercially focused Brand Controller to join a central finance function, acting as a key finance business partner to a specific brand or group function. This role is responsible for financial planning, performance analysis, and providing strategic commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
You will play a critical role in driving financial performance through robust budgeting, forecasting, and decision support in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the financial performance of a brand or business function.
- Lead the development and management of budgets and forecasts.
- Provide commercial and financial insights to senior leadership to support decision-making.
- Partner with Brand/Functional Directors and management teams to maximise financial performance.
- Monitor and analyse financial results, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Support the development of business cases and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and reporting standards.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders and board-level contacts.
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA).
- Proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Experience using SAP or similar financial systems.
- Background in automotive, retail, or other fast-paced commercial industries.
