Building Safety Manager
London (Office and Site Based)
£65,119 - £68,547 per year plus Company car or car allowance
35 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the production, updating and submitting of the safety case report, ensuring the building is suitably designed and maintained to uphold resident safety.
- Identify, monitor and assess building safety risks in the building, including collaborating with internal fire and compliance teams.
- Work directly with residents, on‑site staff and Housing Officers to support resident safety.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures and technical guidance notes.
Skills and Experiences
- Level 4 or above in a relevant qualification such as fire safety, construction, or surveying.
- Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management, or willingness to work towards it.
- Experience of risk management.
- Ability to apply pragmatic approaches to resolve issues while understanding legislation ensuring resident safety.
- Willingness to ask questions and understand the unknown.
- Excellent customer and staff engagement.
- For company vehicle driving duties, a full valid UK driving licence is required.
