Senior Associate / Legal Director – Catastrophic & Complex Injury

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Associate or Legal Director to join a market-leading Catastrophic & Complex Injury team as part of a strategic growth and succession planning initiative.

Location: UK-wide (Flexible / Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £80,000

The Role

This is a senior appointment within a nationally recognised practice, acting for leading insurers and major corporates on some of the most complex and high-value personal injury claims in the UK. The team handles cases involving traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, amputations and fatal accidents, often with multi-million-pound exposure.

You will play a key role not only in managing high-value matters but also in supporting the long-term development of the team, with a clear pathway for progression and increased leadership responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading a caseload of high-value, complex injury claims from inception to resolution
• Developing and implementing robust case strategies aligned with client and commercial objectives
• Acting as a senior contact for key insurer and corporate clients
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and supporting team development
• Playing an active role in business development and strengthening client relationships
• Contributing to the strategic growth and succession planning of the team

About You

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with strong experience in catastrophic / complex injury or high-value personal injury litigation
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-track claims with minimal supervision
• Strong technical expertise combined with commercial awareness
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
