Project Manager – Senior / Principal Formulation

We are delighted to be partnering on a retained basis with one of the UKs most up and coming CDMOs, who have expanded their service offering over recent years and, after significant investment, are on a new and exciting growth trajectory.

As part of this we are now hiring for a formulation expert at Senior / Senior Principal level. The specific technical that the team is looking to add will focus on Formulation Materials Sciences and early-stage technical transfer.

Here is a small flavour of what you will be involved with:

• Multi-Client project management – first hand responsibility for client interaction and delivering against expectations
• Problem solving at a complex level – using your curiosity and passion for the topic to solve new scientific challenges
• Coaching and mentoring more junior staff – working in a flat structure and able to communicate your ideas and knowledge at all levels
• Internal stakeholder management – scientific advice and support to the business development activities

What you need to bring:

• PhD or Masters education with a number of years industry experience, specifically build around formulation
• Expertise in formulation material science is essential
• Early phase technical transfer experience is essential – latter phase would be a nice to have
• Conventional formulation experience is critical – if you have any complex formulation exposure, this would be a benefit
• Strong stakeholder management experience – ideally experience of working with clients/customers but evidencable experience to show this capability is welcome
• Exposure to training, coaching and mentoring junior teams
• A passion for science and a curiosity that drives innovation
