Senior Building Surveyor (MRICS)

Location: Central London – Belgravia, Kensington & Chelsea

A family office is looking for an MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor to join its in-house property team, managing a portfolio of super-prime residential properties across Belgravia, Kensington, and Chelsea.

This is a hands-on, project-centric role, offering direct involvement in high-value refurbishments and developments, with current projects up to £15m and a strong pipeline of future schemes. You will work within a collaborative, client-focused team that also manages construction delivery internally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead high-end residential refurbishments and development projects from start to finish
• Manage projects from feasibility studies through to completion
• Prepare detailed specifications, scopes of work, and technical documentation
• Oversee procurement processes and coordinate consultants
• Handle contract administration and monitor project progress
• Work closely with the internal construction management team
• Ensure all super-prime assets meet quality, programme, and budget objectives

Candidate Profile:

• MRICS-qualified Senior Building Surveyor
• Proven track record managing high-value residential projects
• Experience in prime or super-prime London residential properties preferred
• Technically adept with excellent attention to detail
• Commercially aware, confident in managing contractors and consultants
• Strong team player with a collaborative, no-ego approach
• Comfortable operating within a discreet, client-focused family office setting
