We are seeking energetic Secondary Teaching Assistants to join local high schools. If you have experience working with children in any setting-whether that's schools, colleges, sports coaching, youth work, drama clubs, or even tutoring-we want to hear from you!
Must Haves:
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one).
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
Key Duties:
- Supporting the subject teacher to ensure lessons run smoothly and students stay on task.
- Helping students understand instructions and complete their classwork across different subjects.
- Working with small groups of pupils to improve their confidence in core subjects.
- Assisting with classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
- Helping with administrative tasks like preparing resources or organising displays.
- Acting as a positive role model and helping students stay motivated throughout the day.
- Encouraging students to participate in class discussions and peer activities.
