Key Duties:
- Help the chef prepare fresh, healthy ingredients for school lunches.
- Set up the service counters with hot food, salads, and desserts.
- Serve tasty meals to students and staff with a friendly smile.
- Keep the kitchen sparkling by washing dishes and clearing away equipment.
- Ensure the dining area is wiped down and ready for the next group.
- Assist with basic food prep like making sandwiches or prepping fruit.
- Follow food safety rules to keep our kitchen safe and hygienic.
- Work as part of a fast-paced, happy team to get meals out on time.
Requirements:
- You must have previous experience working in a school, nursery, or similar educational kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills and reliability.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service is highly preferred for an ASAP start.
- You must have the Right to Work in the UK.
