We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Great Barr on a 3-day-per-week basis.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate classroom practitioner who enjoys working in Key Stage 1 and is confident delivering engaging, high-quality learning to early years pupils transitioning through KS1.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging KS1 lessons across the curriculum
- Support early literacy and numeracy development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess, track and support pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with staff to support learning outcomes
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
Candidate Requirements- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS1 (EYFS experience desirable)
- Strong understanding of early learning and phonics
- Confident classroom practitioner
- Flexible, committed and able to work part-time (3 days per week)
