Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with an ambitious and supportive secondary school in Basingstoke, Hampshire, to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to start as soon as possible.

The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Create a calm, focused, and engaging learning environment
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with clear school policies
• Support students with additional needs, including SEN, where required
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to raise attainment
• Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams to support student development

The Ideal Candidate

• Have experience working with secondary-aged students
• Are confident, adaptable, and proactive in the classroom
• Have SEN experience or a willingness to support additional needs
• Communicate clearly and build strong, positive relationships with students
• Demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for English and young people's learning
• Are committed to raising standards and fostering a love of reading and writing
