This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join a well‑established main contractor delivering high‑profile commercial projects for blue‑chip and public‑sector clients, with values up to £15m. The business is entering a key growth phase, offering long‑term stability, clear progression, and a highly competitive salary with bonus potential.

The main contractor delivers refurbishment and occasional new‑build projects across healthcare, commercial office, and government sectors. Schemes typically range from £300k to £15m and are delivered directly for established blue‑chip and public‑sector clients. Following a strong year and continued workload growth, the business is expanding its estimating function.

This is a full‑time, office‑based Estimator role working closely with a small, experienced team of long‑serving professionals. You'll take projects from initial enquiry through to tender submission, contributing to competitive and commercially sound bids.

The Role – Responsibilities

• Producing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
• Reviewing enquiries and completing bid/no‑bid assessments
• Analyzing tender documentation and preparing detailed estimates
• Submitting tenders and supporting post‑tender queries

The Person – Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment
• Background in refurbishment or commercial construction projects
• Experience producing competitive tendersi
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Able to commute to Maidstone
