In this role you will offer guidance and support to enable neurodivergent/disabled learners to achieve their aspirations and goals. You will deliver effective teaching, learning and support to learners for qualifications and their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, creative interventions that meet individual learner needs and targets
- Motivate and support learners to achieve their goals through outstanding, ongoing guidance
- Create and implement tailored learner support plans, evidencing progression on a monthly basis
- Provide continuous Information, Advice & Guidance and pastoral support to aid engagement and achievement
- Deliver and facilitate teaching, learning and support that promotes accelerated and autonomous learning
- Develop learning resources to effectively support the learning process
- Complete detailed documentation to evidence Learning Support Funding requirements
- Work collaboratively with delivery colleagues, providing timely and accurate learner updates
- Monitor learner welfare, health and safety, promoting knowledge of Safeguarding, British Values, Prevent, and Equality & Diversity
Your Experience
- Experience of and a proven track record of working with SEND learners
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets
- Knowledge and/or experience in Safeguarding
- Understanding of the SEND Code of Practicea
- Teaching qualification preferred
- Educated at degree level or equivalent experience
