Actual Salary: £33,952.77 - £39,366.78

Hours: 24 hours per week (3 days - to be agreed at interview)

Contract: Permanent, term-time only (44.67 paid weeks per year)

About the School

We're proud to be working with a forward-thinking and inspiring specialist school supporting children and young people aged 7-19 with a primary or secondary diagnosis of Autism and associated social communication needs.

With provision from Key Stage 2 through to post-16, the school is dedicated to helping every student discover their strengths, build independence, and achieve success academically, emotionally, and socially.

The Role

As a Clinical Psychologist, you'll be a key figure in supporting the emotional wellbeing and behavioural development of students across the school.

Responsibilities

• Carry out psychological assessments and deliver bespoke interventions
• Work directly with young people on a 1:1 and group basis
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to embed Positive Behaviour Support strategies throughout the school
• Provide guidance and training to staff and families, promoting consistency and understanding

What We're Looking For

• HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist with a postgraduate qualification in Psychology
• Experience supporting children or young people with Autism and complex needs
• Background in educational, clinical, or care settings
• Confidence working within multi-disciplinary teams
• Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists
• A genuine passion for evidence-based practice and continuous learning
