We're looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic pharmacist to take the lead on education and training within our pharmacy department at Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, part of Mid and South Essex Hospitals NHS Trust.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about developing people and shaping the future pharmacy workforce. You'll provide leadership for pharmacist education and training, supporting colleagues at all stages of their careers and playing a key role in delivering and developing the Foundation Pharmacist Training pathway. Strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine commitment to personal and professional development are essential.

Alongside your education and training remit, you'll maintain a clinical role as part of a small, friendly and highly respected pharmacy team working across the emergency floor. This balance offers both strategic influence and hands‑on clinical practice in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Main duties of the job

You will be based at the Broomfield Hospital site, where you will:

The successful applicant will contribute to the pharmacist on-call service and the 7-day clinical pharmacy service to the emergency floor, which will involve working weekends (8am to 4pm) with flexible days off during the week in return.
