Overview

We are seeking a motivated experienced and enthusiastic Specialist Teacher of the Deaf to join our well established multidisciplinary team within a nationally recognised centre of excellence for ENT and Audiovestibular Medicine. This Band 8a role offers the opportunity to work at an advanced specialist level in clinical and outreach settings, supporting deaf children and young people and their families. The post holder will have substantial experience of working with deaf children and young people, including babies and those with complex additional needs. You will demonstrate advanced expertise in auditory rehabilitation and habilitation, including cochlear implants, bone conduction devices and hearing aids.
