We are looking to hire a Hardware Design & Verification Engineer to join their Birmingham-based team, working across PCB design, fault diagnosis, and production support on a varied range of electronic products.
The role
- PCB schematic and circuit design for new and existing products
- PCB redesign, troubleshooting, and production support
- Component-level fault diagnosis, soldering, and rework
- Product testing and validation using industry test equipment
- Supporting engineering, production, and technical teams
- Contributing to future product development and new technologies
The ideal Hardware Design background
- Strong experience in electronics and hardware design
- Proven PCB design experience across the full product lifecycle
- Hands‑on fault finding and practical electronics skills
- Experience with KiCAD (essential) and Altium (legacy support)
- Confident using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
- Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership
