Acoustics Consultant

Overview

We are currently looking to recruit an Acoustics Consultant to work in Hertfordshire for a long-established noise and vibration specialist. Our client offers a unique set where you can find the full range of acoustic consultancy design and reporting services under one roof. With expertise in environmental planning, building design, and mechanical installation, you will have the opportunity to develop your skill set in line with your interests and strengths.

Qualifications

You need to be degree qualified and an associate or full member of the Institute of Acoustics, with at least 1 year of working experience in acoustics.

Responsibilities

• Undertake noise and vibration surveys, acoustics and noise impact assessments.
• Support junior staff.
• Write technical reports.
• Use noise modelling software to predict noise from complex environments.
• Manage projects.

We are seeking a creative and talented individual with excellent communication skills, capable of connecting with a wide range of people. You should have a pragmatic approach to problem solving and a good knowledge and understanding of legislation and guidelines affecting acoustics, noise, and vibration.
