Consultant Haematologist

Overview

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWUHT) seeks a Consultant Haematologist to join the haematology team at Northwick Park Hospital with additional clinical duties at Central Middlesex Hospital. The role involves delivering clinical, laboratory, diagnostic, administrative, research and teaching responsibilities within a dedicated team of 16 consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and further develop the haematology service within the trust’s catchment area.
• Conduct three outpatient haematology clinics per week.
• Share on‑call duties with colleagues on a 1:6 basis, supported by a 24‑hour on‑call registrar.
• Attend multidisciplinary team meetings at local and regional levels.
• Support education and training across the trust, fostering excellence in emergency and long‑term management of haematological disorders.
• Engage with research activities and contribute to teaching programmes at postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
