We are looking for an experienced leader in the care sector to join Team Meallmore at Parklands Care Home based in Alloa. As a Deputy Manager, you'll work together with our Home Manager to provide strong leadership to colleagues and ensure our residents receive personalised and compassionate care.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care
- Providing clinical oversight at care home level
- Upholding all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Implementing and monitoring Meallmore’s corporate standards, policies, procedures, and technology systems
- Fulfilling the duties of a ‘Responsible Person’/’Registered Individual’ as directed by your line manager
- Contributing with on-call duties and stepping into the shoes of the Home Manager when they’re away – because we’re all in this together
What we are looking for
- Relevant nursing qualification (RGN / RMN / RLDN) with NMC registration (essential)
- Care home experience and knowledge of Scottish regulatory frameworks & legislation
- Motivational leader with the ability to coach, inspire and mentor others – fostering a nurturing environment for colleagues to encourage a culture of growth and advancement
- Professional, compassionate and values driven – you’ll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to care
- Confident in the use of IT applications including MS Teams and Office packages
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external customers
- What’s just as important is that you are organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills
