Equifind is supporting a UK-based real estate group in the recruitment of a Finance Manager, based out of their London Mayfair office.
Reporting to the CFO and managing a small team, the role will take ownership of budgeting, reporting and compliance across the UK group. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
The business has hundreds of millions in real estate assets, primarily across the light industrial and logistics sectors, and is growing quickly with a focus on Western Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance team
- Oversight of preparation of audited financial statements for the Group
- Working with the team in completion of quarterly consolidated management accounts
- Management of quarterly Board meeting presentations.
- Oversee the credit control function and fee invoicing
- Manage SPV cashflows to ensure construction and other payments are made in timely fashion.
Application Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualified experience
- Experience within a real estate investor, developer or manager
- Ability to operate autonomously and take ownership in a lean environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic and international setting
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and decision-making capability
