The firm has a long-established and highly respected Clinical Negligence practice, with a particular specialism in complex, high-value and multi-claimant litigation. Due to continued growth within the team, they are now looking to appoint a Clinical Negligence Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) to join their Sheffield office.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading claimant team working on group action and large-scale clinical negligence matters, gaining exposure to some of the most significant cases in the field.

The Role

The successful candidate will support senior lawyers on a varied and complex caseload of clinical and medical negligence matters, with a strong focus on group action and multi-claimant litigation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting on high-value, complex group action and multi-claimant litigation files
• Reviewing and analysing medical records and expert evidence
• Supporting the instruction and management of medical experts
• Drafting legal documents including correspondence, witness statements and court documents
• Assisting with case strategy, investigations and settlement discussions
• Liaising with clients and providing regular updates in a sensitive and professional manner
• Coordinating evidence across multiple linked claims to support litigation strategy

This role offers excellent supervision and training, with genuine opportunities to take on increasing responsibility as you develop. You will also have the chance to contribute to wider team initiatives, including business development and marketing activity relating to group litigation.

What They’re Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE)
• Experience in clinical negligence or personal injury (claimant or defendant background considered)
• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex casework
• Strong communication skills and client care approach
• A genuine interest in claimant clinical negligence and group litigation
