Role: Trade Package Manager (Blockwork) – Tier 2 Contractor – Bristol

Salary: £65,000 negotiable + car allowance + package

A leading Tier 2 contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their Newcastle team, delivering major high‑rise projects as part of a long‑term regional pipeline. The Role

As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for day‑to‑day site operations on a large‑scale high‑rise development. You’ll ensure work is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards, coordinating subcontractors and supporting the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations on a major high‑rise project
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• Maintain programme, quality, and H&S standards
• Coordinate blockwork packages and ensure sequencing is followed
• Lead site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks
• Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial team
• Ensure compliance with Tier 1 processes and client expectations

Essential Experience

• Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
• Strong background in high‑rise construction (residential or commercial)
• Demonstrable experience managing blockwork packages
• Excellent understanding of H&S, quality control, and programme management
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
