A well-established full-service UK law firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Associate / Senior Associate (4–8 PQE) to join its growing Corporate team in Manchester.

This is an opportunity to join a respected regional practice advising a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and corporates on a broad range of corporate transactions.

The Role

You will work on a variety of corporate matters including:

• Mergers & acquisitions, disposals and strategic investments
• Joint ventures and corporate restructurings
• Drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and ancillary documentation
• Advising on corporate governance and regulatory matters
• Supporting clients through the full lifecycle of transactions from structuring through to completion

You will manage your own matters while also working closely with partners on larger and more complex transactions.

The Candidate

• Qualified solicitor with 4–8 years’ PQE in corporate law
• Experience gained at a regional, national or City firm with exposure to corporate transactions
• Strong drafting, technical and analytical skills
• Commercially minded with a client-focused approach
• Organised and confident managing multiple workstreams in a busy transactional environment
