Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the crating production workshop and oversee a skilled team.
- Ensure the safe handling and packing of paintings, artefacts, and museum objects.
- Oversee internal and external client relationships, providing excellent customer service.
- Control costs, complete price estimations, and manage project expenses.
- Supervise the construction of museum-standard crates, including interior fitouts.
- Handle artwork installations and object placements with precision.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain the highest standards.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance efficiency and craftsmanship.
- Collaborate with museums, galleries, and institutions worldwide.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in art crating and team leadership.
- Strong knowledge of museum-standard crate construction and packing methods.
- Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and project management.
- Ability to handle delicate artworks and artefacts with care and precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Physically fit and capable of completing all job-related tasks.
- Must have a clear police record for visa purposes.
