Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Weighbridge Operator for our on-site location just outside of Ellon. The role involves operating the weighbridge system to accurately weigh inbound and outbound vehicles, maintaining records of all transactions, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Key tasks include interacting with drivers, issuing tickets, managing documentation, and verifying the accuracy of weights recorded. The Weighbridge Operator will also ensure that the site complies with legal and procedural standards for safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating weighbridge systems and managing transactional data accurately.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills to maintain accurate documentation of weights and vehicle information.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with drivers and staff professionally and effectively.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and ensure compliance with legal and operational standards on-site.
• Basic IT and administrative skills to operate digital tools and handle data efficiently.
• Experience in the construction or logistics industry is advantageous.
