Associate Solicitor

Non-Contentious Construction, 3-6 PQE, London

Join a market-leading non-contentious Construction team, advising on complex UK and international development projects.

Clients are supported across the full project lifecycle, from structuring and procurement, to negotiation and delivery of construction contracts. The team is particularly recognised for its work in:

• UK building safety reform and residential development
• Major mixed-use and high-rise schemes
• “Brown to green” office refurbishment and retrofit
• ESG-led development and regeneration
• Innovative procurement structures
• Data centres and digital infrastructure projects

You will work with recognised experts advising on major developments, funder-side construction risk, institutional investment mandates and complex contract suites across commercial, residential and mixed-use sectors.

The Role

You will deliver strategic, commercially focused advice on development and regeneration projects.

Advising developers, funders, asset managers, contractors and end users, you will:

• Negotiate construction contracts (including JCT amendments), appointments and warranties
• Provide construction due diligence on real estate transactions
• Contribute to development agreement negotiations
• Advise on construction risk and evolving building safety legislation

You will manage your own matters with appropriate supervision, work closely with partners on major projects, and collaborate across Real Estate, Funds, Finance and Disputes. The role also includes supervising junior lawyers and supporting business development.
