Transport & Asset Finance Associate, London
My client is looking for a talented associate to join the Transport & Asset Finance practice, with a primary focus on rail and rolling stock finance. You will be part of a supportive and highly experienced team, working on complex, high-value transactions across the rail and aviation sectors.
As an associate, you will:
- Advise clients on all aspects of asset financing in the rail and aviation sectors, with a primary focus on rail
- Take ownership of smaller transactions, working independently and alongside senior team members
- Draft, review and negotiate key transaction documentation
- Manage client relationships and oversee project delivery
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, commercial advice
- Supervise and support junior team members
- Identify and assess key legal and commercial risks
- Contribute to pitches, panel presentations, and business development initiatives
- Support client relationship management and ongoing growth of the practice.
About You
You will bring:
- 2+ years’ PQE experience managing asset finance transactions
- Exposure to the rail sector (desirable) and/or aviation finance
- A background in general banking or finance law
- Experience working on cross-border transactions
- Strong technical ability and excellent legal execution
- Confident drafting and negotiation skills.
