Wise Productions is an employee-owned creative events production company based in London, with a talented team of over 55 Co-Owners. With a longstanding commitment to innovation, excellence, and a client-centric approach, we pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable event experiences in the UK’s most beautiful venues.

Our core values—enthusiasm, dependability, collaboration, and a client-first mentality—are at the heart of everything we do. Our recruitment process is designed to identify candidates who genuinely share these values. For the right person, this is an exciting opportunity to join a respected company and play a key role in our future as we continue to grow through the strength of our employee-ownership model.

Position Overview

We are seeking a technically accomplished and highly client-focussed Technical Project Manager to lead the design, planning, and onsite execution of our creative event productions. This role is responsible for developing integrated technical solutions across lighting, audio, video, rigging, staging, and power—and ensuring these are delivered flawlessly in line with client expectations, creative direction, and venue regulations.

As a key client-facing role, you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the project lifecycle—communicating clearly and confidently with clients, venue teams, and senior stakeholders. You’ll combine deep cross-discipline technical expertise with the interpersonal skills to guide non-technical clients through complex solutions, always with professionalism, clarity, and a client-focussed mindset.

You’ll work across a diverse range of high-end events in the Unique Venues of London and beyond, collaborating with our Creative, Projects and Operations teams to deliver work that is technically robust, creatively aligned, and logistically sound.

  2. Technical Design & Specification: Translate creative briefs into detailed technical solutions across lighting, audio, video, rigging, staging, and power—producing drawings, kit lists, and specifications.
  3. Site Assessments & Feasibility: Conduct site visits and technical surveys to evaluate venue constraints, infrastructure, access, and regulatory requirements; advise on viable and innovative solutions.
  4. Supplier & Crew Coordination: Scope, source, and brief equipment suppliers and freelance technicians—ensuring appropriate resourcing, clear roles, and alignment with delivery expectations.
  5. Onsite Technical Leadership: Lead technical teams through build, live, and de-rig phases—ensuring safe, timely, and high-standard execution, with efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  6. Health & Safety & Compliance: Own all H&S aspects of technical delivery—producing RAMS, ensuring CDM compliance where applicable, and coordinating safety with venues and contractors.
  7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Creative, Production, and Logistics teams to integrate technical planning into wider project workflows—ensuring cohesive, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
