As a Science 2iC, you will:

• Support the Head of Department in leading a large and successful Science faculty
• Drive standards of teaching and learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
• Lead on curriculum development and assessment within Science
• Monitor pupil progress and implement intervention strategies
• Support and develop early career teachers within the department

The ideal Science 2iC will have:

• QTS and a strong academic background in a Science specialism
• Proven track record of delivering excellent outcomes at GCSE and ideally A-Level
• Experience supporting departmental leadership or readiness to step into a Science 2iC role
• Strong understanding of data, curriculum planning, and pedagogy
• Commitment to supporting pupils with SEND and EHCPs
