We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and visionary Head of PE in a school which offers comprehensive CPD, exciting development opportunities and good promotion prospects for our teachers.

The main purpose of this post is to achieve outstanding outcomes at KS3/4 in the curriculum and wider curricular offer within the sports department. We offer the following seasonal sports within the curriculum or as extra‑curricular activities – Athletics, Basketball, Cricket, Dance, Football, Gymnastics, Health‑related fitness, Hockey, Netball, Rounders, Softball, Trampolining, Rugby, Fencing, Badminton and Tennis.

The intent of our PE Curriculum is to provide all students with high quality PE and Sport provision, which focuses on the holistic development of the student, allowing them to achieve their own personal best. Students will learn fundamental movement skills that will allow them to experience success in a range of sports, develop specific sporting knowledge, but also, they will develop a broader understanding of the skills and knowledge that is needed for them to be a lifelong learner in PE and sport. We have a holistic assessment, which assesses the students Cognitively, Physically and Socially.
