Job Description
- Lead a large History department consisting of Trainee Teachers, ECT, Teach First, and experienced History Teachers.
- Develop and implement a fantastic history curriculum for KS3-5 (GCSE & A Level).
- Manage and motivate a diverse team of history teachers, fostering high standards and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the department aligns with the school’s outstanding ethos and Ofsted expectations.
- Prepare for future leadership opportunities within the school.
Person Specification
- UK QTS required.
- Strong understanding of the History curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a range of personalities and inspire staff.
- Outstanding expectations for yourself and fellow teachers.
- Commitment to CPD and professional growth.
