We are seeking an experienced Site Manager (Envelope) to join our team on a hi‑rise residential job in central Birmingham. What You’ll Do
- Take responsibility for the management and delivery of the building envelope package, including façade, SFS, brickwork, roofing and external works.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure efficient delivery of works.
- Monitor progress against programme and report regularly to the Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, drawings and technical requirements.
- Manage quality inspections and ensure all works meet required standards and tolerances.
- Coordinate with design and commercial teams to resolve technical queries and manage changes.
- Ensure all health, safety and environmental standards are maintained on site.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation.
- Support the wider site team to ensure overall project success.
What We’re Looking For
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Package Manager delivering building envelope works on large‑scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of façade systems, cladding, roofing and external envelope packages.
- Experience working on high‑rise residential or similar complex projects.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing, programme management and quality control.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple work fronts.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practice.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
