Clinical / Counselling Psychologist - Mindplace Dartford (Face to Face)
Location: Crossways Business Park, Dartford, DA2 6QH
Employment type: Permanent – Full time and part time hours available.
Session Requirements
- Sessions available Monday to Sunday.
- Early shift: 08:00‑16:00
- Late shift: 14:00‑22:00 (at least one shift per week must be a late shift)
- Each session day includes 5 appointments.
- Centre opening hours: Monday to Saturday 08:00‑22:00.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality therapeutic care with excellent clinical outcomes.
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations for evidence‑based intervention.
- Offer different models of service delivery: face‑to‑face, telephone, or video consultations.
- Adhere to Bupa’s case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the therapy team.
- Work within sessional limits based on the client’s Private Medical Insurance allowance.
- Provide sign‑posting or onward referrals as needed.
- Offer ad‑hoc wellbeing support and coaching.
- Conduct one‑off assessments and referral recommendations.
- Provide group psychoeducation and mental health awareness through remote presentations, workshops, and training.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and Bupa’s service policies.
- Attend regular clinical supervision and monthly team meetings.
- Collaborate with the operational and clinical team to improve client and employee experiences.
Essential Qualifications and Key Skills
- Professional doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Health and Care Professions Council registration as a Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist.
- General adult mental health experience.
- At least 1 year’s post‑qualification clinical experience.
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft systems and electronic medical record systems.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate, plan and prioritise workload within demanding time scales.
- Excellent application of clinical knowledge and strong problem‑solving capability.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a busy, team‑driven environment.
- High standards in written and oral communication.
Desirable
- Training and accreditation in specialised areas of psychological relevance.
- Corporate experience and business understanding.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
