Role Overview

The Regional DVI Coordinator role is an opportunity to be part of shaping and maintaining the North West Regional response to mass fatality and excess death.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan in collaboration with various partners across the North West region and nationally.
• Support each force within the region to ensure they have a cadre of staff that can be utilised in the event of deployment, locally or as part of mutual aid regionally.
• Maintain links between regional forces reporting to the regional Lead Sim and play a key part in ensuring training, exercising and continuing professional development.

Qualifications

Applicants should have previously been DVI trained or have experience in the field.

Applicants should have a good understanding of major incidents and an operational response to them.
