We are now looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead a team of colleagues, ensuring daily operational targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse operatives on a shift basis
- Ensure all tasks are completed safely, accurately, and on time
- Monitor and drive performance against operational KPIs (productivity, quality, service, attendance)
- Allocate labour and resources effectively to meet workload demands
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, housekeeping, and compliance
- Conduct team briefings, one to ones, and performance discussions
- Manage absence, timekeeping, and disciplinary processes in line with company policy
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous experience in a First Line Manager / Team Leader role within a warehouse environment
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Ability to manage performance and address issues confidently and fairly
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and processes
- Organised, resilient, and able to work effectively in a fast paced environment
