Casework Lawyer

Casework Lawyer (18 month contract)

Membership body seeks a Casework Lawyer to join the Enforcement team, responsible for investigating allegations against members and taking disciplinary action where appropriate. The role involves handling your own caseload, including many sensitive and complex matters. Responsibilities include drafting allegations, reports and charges, corresponding with members, witnesses and other stakeholders, and attending hearings and High Court alongside counsel.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer (barrister, solicitor, FCILEX or equivalent).
• Extensive casework experience, ideally within professional regulation.

Location

Based in central London office with a minimum 40% office attendance requirement.

Commonwealth qualified lawyers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
