Salary: £27,000 – £35,000 + bonus (OTE £45,000)

Our client is a long established dealer network specialising in premium turf and ground care machinery. They deliver exceptional service, technical expertise and long‑term support to commercial turf customers, sports venues, golf courses, local authorities and professional contractors.

The Commercial Turf Area Sales Manager will manage a key territory covering the East Riding and North Yorkshire coastline. You will build strong customer relationships, promote high‑quality machinery, deliver tailored solutions and work closely with service and parts teams to ensure excellent customer outcomes. This role suits a motivated, commercially minded professional who enjoys autonomy and relationship‑led sales.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial turf customers.
• Promote and sell professional turf and ground care machinery.
• Identify and secure new business through lead generation and networking.
• Conduct product demonstrations and site visits to recommend appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals and finance options.
• Work with service and parts teams to deliver outstanding aftersales support.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and customer information.
• Represent the business at trade shows, open days and manufacturer events.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support strategic planning.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to Turf Division growth.

Experience Required

• Proven equipment sales experience, ideally in commercial turf, ground care or similar sectors.
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of hitting targets.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build genuine rapport.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and confident working independently.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales processes.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
