Work Location: 1115 Mission Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78210

Mission: Seton Home works to break the cycle of abuse and poverty by providing a caring home, education, and support services necessary to transform the lives of pregnant and parenting teen mothers and their children.

Summary:

The Shelter Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation of the shelter environment. Observe all agency policies and procedures and monitor implementation of procedures by direct care staff within a trauma‑informed lens.

Position Responsibilities

At Seton Home’s sole discretion, and with or without notice, Seton Home may require employees to alter their work schedules to fulfill job responsibilities or handle work situations of an emergency nature. Likewise, at Seton Home’s sole discretion, and with written approval of the Department Head of Human Resources and Executive Director, employees may arrange an alternate or flexible work schedule, provided Seton Home needs can be fully met under such an arrangement.

Minimum Qualifications

Must provide immunization/shot records; Submit to a state and federal background check, Child abuse and neglect registry check, and Tuberculosis screening; Be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform essential duties and responsibilities.

Able to show proof of immunity to vaccine‑preventable diseases transmitted by the respiratory route if working directly with unaccompanied children.

Travel Requirements

Travel requirements for the position includes 10% local and 10% overnight.

Physical Requirements

The position requires the following physical demands in the frequency noted.

C = Constantly (2/3 or more of the time) O = Occasionally (Up to 1/3 of the time)

F = Frequently (From 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) R = Rarely (less than on hour per week)
