Head of Pension Scheme Onboarding
About the Role
We’re looking for a senior leader to head up onboarding and transition of new pension scheme clients. You’ll drive strategy, manage complex transitions, and ensure seamless delivery across systems, data, and operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead onboarding strategy and transition delivery
- Manage end-to-end client onboarding (setup / BAU handover)
- Act as senior contact for high-value/complex transitions
- Oversee data migration, validation, and integration
- Coordinate stakeholders, timelines, and resources
- Lead due diligence for risk transfer transactions (e.g. buy-outs)
- Ensure high data quality, reporting, and issue resolution
- Support business development and client relationships
- Lead and develop a high-performing team
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience in DB/DC pensions admin & data
- Team leadership (5+ people)
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills
- Advanced SQL + Excel
- Strong data analysis, audit, and problem-solving skills
- Project management experience
- Detail-focused and proactive mindset
