Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator

We are currently recruiting for a Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator to join a welcoming, well-established 3-surgery practice located in the BT7 area of Belfast.

The Practice

Our modern, digitally equipped practice provides a full range of NHS and private treatments, including restorative and cosmetic dentistry. The practice benefits from strong patient demand and a loyal local community.

Located in the popular BT7 area, the practice is easily accessible with convenient public transport links and close proximity to Belfast city centre. The area offers a vibrant mix of residential neighbourhoods, cafés and local amenities, making it a pleasant and well-connected place to work.

You will be working closely alongside experienced, qualified dentists, a supportive Practice Manager, and a team of fully qualified dental nurses who pride themselves on teamwork, professionalism and creating a positive atmosphere every day.

The Role

This position combines front-of-house excellence with treatment coordination responsibilities. It is ideal for someone who enjoys building rapport with patients and guiding them confidently through their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

Managing reception and delivering an outstanding patient experience
Coordinating and optimising appointment schedules
Supporting treatment discussions and handling patient enquiries
Explaining treatment plans and finance options clearly and professionally
Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records
Working collaboratively with clinicians and the wider team

Candidate Requirements

Minimum one year of experience within a dental practice
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confidence using dental software systems
Knowledge of private dentistry, implants or aligners desirable
Professional, approachable and team-oriented
