This is a rare opportunity for an experienced tax specialist seeking greater flexibility, with part-time working arrangements actively considered. The role sits at Senior Manager level and offers a strong blend of technical advisory work, client responsibility, and leadership within a high-quality and supportive firm environment.

Job Overview

This is a senior appointment within the tax function, designed for an individual who wants to remain closely involved in client work while also contributing to the strategic development and leadership of the department.

• Take responsibility for overseeing tax compliance delivery and supporting the wider tax team, including review of complex personal and business tax matters.
• Act as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients, delivering tailored tax planning advice and ensuring high levels of service and technical accuracy.
• Support the management of departmental workflow, including billing, WIP control, and ensuring efficient delivery across the tax function.
• Contribute to business development by strengthening existing client relationships, identifying advisory opportunities, and supporting the growth of the firms tax services.

Candidate Criteria

To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally possess the following:

• Qualified accountant or tax professional (CTA or ACA preferred)
• Strong background in tax within a practice environment
• Experience managing client relationships and reviewing complex tax work
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in a client-facing role.
